TRUcompare is a standalone client application built and supported by Valiance Partners, Inc. It runs on a personal computer or server and requires the Windows 2000/2003, Windows XP or Windows Vista operating system.
Training
Valiance offers a two-day training course designed to introduce users to TRUcompare, its uses and capabilities. An example migration is reviewed using sample content and data to demonstrate testing and quality assurance issues typically associated with migration projects.
This program also includes configuration exercises, deviation reporting, and an overview (where required) of the test execution process within a validation protocol. Up to eight (8) participants may enroll in this course. Required instructor travel and expenses are billed as additional charges.
Documentation
TRUcompare user and technical documentation is provided in electronic form (PDF format) with each software license. It is comprised of:
- TRUcompare Installation Guide – A step-by-step explanation of how to install the product on a personal computer or server
- TRUcompare User Guide – Provides detailed information associated with the configuration and use of TRUcompare, including: Connections, Source Data, Primary Keys, Mapping Rules, Folder Mapping, Content Comparison, Execution, and Reporting.
- Plug-in Guide – Intended for developers, this guide defines and explains how to design and build custom TRUcompare plug-ins.
In addition, release notes are published from time-to-time and on-line help is embedded directly into TRUcompare.
Support
TRUcompare standard yearly maintenance includes bug fixes and patches, upgrades and email support with 24-hour response time. Telephone support is available for an additional charge. First year maintenance is required with the purchase of any TRUcompare license. |
